A Clinical Director/RN is available & fully supports aides while they are in the field supporting your loved ones.
Licensed and certified CNA’s (Certified Nurse Assistant) and HHA’s (Home Health Aides) can deliver such tasks as: showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding, meal planning/meal prep, medication reminders, pet assistance, and light housekeeping. We utilize multiple communication styles to relay details of daily care and to enhance continuity of care.
Companionship is a critical need for our clients! Cornerstone boasts wide-ranging companionship services which can fit the lifestyle of a homebound client as well as the client who wishes to get out of the house regularly. Examples for the less mobile client include: baking cookies, herb gardening, making a bird feeder, or creating a memory journal. Companion services for the more active client can include something as simple as a trip to the grocery store or the nail salon all the way to an afternoon at the Brandywine Zoo or Delcastle Recreational Park.
Cornerstone has regularly and successfully worked alongside multiple hospice agencies to deliver arguably the most important care that one will receive. A Cornerstone aide can seamlessly complement the hospice nurse and hospice aide visits by giving you the daily support that end-of-life care requires. Our aides are trained to know that your family member’s comfort is of the utmost importance. Simple tasks now become the most impactful… vaseline on dry lips, playing a radio with a favorite song, a gentle massage, a fresh set of sheets, or a soft pillow.
